Baked Seasoned Curry Fries – No Oil

One of my favorite indulgences are fries. They are absolutely in my top 10 favorite things to eat list. In my journey of altering the foods I eat I am trying to eliminate most oils from my diet. I’ve made homemade fries ever since I first learned how to cook. The combination of these spices are delicious on just about anything, but are a definite winner when it comes to these baked fries.

5 regular sized potatoes – cut into slightly slim/fairly thin wedges.

1.5 tsp seasoning salt

1.5 tsp curry powder

.5 tsp coriander

.5 tsp garlic powder

.5 tsp cumin

.5 tsp chili powder

.5 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp black pepper

Preheat oven to 450. Rinse the wedges under cold water and leave wet in a bowl. Add all of the spices and toss to coat. Lay the wedges out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Position the wedges so they are not overlapping. Bake for 40 minutes – turning each wedge over half way through. I top with cracked Himalayan salt and fresh chopped fries and serve with ketchup made with agave rather than sugar.
